Ratan Tata- As a citizen of India by some source, we depend on the Tata groups. It might be salt, tea, clothes, coffee, auto-motors and flights. The backbone for all these sources is one man Ratan Tata. Ratan Tata is the grandson of Jamsetji tata and son of Naval Tata. He carried that legendary from his grandfather and his Uncle JRD. Tata. He studied BArch at the Cornell University.Â

Career
He came back to India after his graduation. He forcefully came to India the reason behind it was his grandmother’s health he was raised and brought up by his grandmother Navajbai Tata.
After his grandmother’s death, he settled in India for the first six months he underwent training and assistance work in the Tata groups. JRD Tata was assigned to work in NELCO, an electronics company and now it is a satellite communication company owned by Tata Industries.
Before Ratan Tata, their industries were limited to cotton mills and steel industries before stepping down JRD Tata had projects on the Airways as he was a pilot.
This project along with other sectors like automotive, steel, IT, Tea and Luxury goods was taken up by Ratan Tata and made Tata a globally recognized group.
Tata Nano – A Failure
As human beings, we see success and failures in our life. For Rata Ji also there is a phase where he all is going constantly but suddenly a speed breaker affects his journey. He was inspired by a journey of a family travelling on the road.
After a few years on 10 January 2008, he introduced a revolutionary car named Tata Nano for the cheapest price of 1,00,000 rupees but due to the failures of marketing, it did not impact the mindsets of Indians. But it marked a failure for Tata.
Attack on Taj
In the same year, terrorists attacked the Taj Hotel which was constructed by Jamsetji Tata who was the founder of Tata Group it was the first grand hotel with electricity. The hotel architecture and the major portion of the rooms were destroyed. From this attack, Ratan Ji started a trust and promised to take responsibility for the children’s education of hotel staff by showing his generosity.
Personal Life
Coming to his personal life he was a living saint he did not marry and also had no children. And also said in an interview that he came close to getting married four times but each time he was backed off in fear for one reason or another.
But he showed his love towards animals especially for dogs.
Awards
He was given many awards for his achievements and the social activities of the people of India. In 2000 he was awarded Padma Bhushan the third-highest civilian award and Padma Vibhushan in 2008 which is the second highest civilian award by the government of India.
He was also awarded by the Maharashtra government and the Assam government for his public and social services. He also gave an interview for Mega Icons which was a documentary that was telecasted on National Geographic.
This is all about the story of a mischievous book who poured some sugar on the bike of a police officer not to start but his curiosity and hunger for learning made him a chairperson and a human who did not forget his ethics.
The people of India accepted him for buying the salt but refused him to pay for the supercar. Maybe his body took the rest, but his life lessons always give inspiration to many. May his soul Rest in Peace!
The true measure of success is not just in what you achieve, but also in how you impact others positively.
