She continued cooking after marrying Mr Maithily Sharan Gupta. At first, she used to research and write recipe blogs and gained popularity among the people. After that, at the suggestion of people, she started to shoot cooking videos and post them on her YouTube channel. Besides that, she is an animal lover, and she used to raise a pet dog.

After that, she slowly started her YouTube career in 2008 as Nisha Madhulika and gained more views. Her first video was How to Make Rose Water at Home which gained 1.5 million views.
Her all-time popular videos were on the sweet recipe- Peta, the pickle recipe- Amla (Gooseberry), the bread recipe- Naan, the snack recipe- Poha, the breakfast recipe- Chole Bhature and the rice recipe- Jeera rice and also many more. 
She was awarded the Top Chef India Award sponsored by YouTube, and she was also listed as one of the top 10 YouTube superstars by the Economic Times, she was named as Vodafone Women of Pure in the Wonder Coffee Table Book and awarded as the best cooking content creator on YouTube. She also received the highest play buttons on YouTube like silver, gold and diamond.
